If a real estate attorney is involved the attorney should review all listing agreements and any other document on behalf of the client prior to signing. Once the property is listed at a price agreed on by the parties, short sale buyers can be found or the property can be found by potential buyers on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). The MLS is an online database of properties for sale that can be searched. Once a Buyer submits an offer the short sale process officially commences.
